I completed another lapidary arbor restoration! Like my other ones, this is a Lortone NS8 arbor, which is what I prefer to use as the design gives plenty of space to work around on the wheels. This makes three arbors that I now have.

I've been teaching myself stone intarsia, and these are a few of my first learning pieces. I like the challenge of fitting these different stones together. The square one, for example, is made from 12 carefully fit together different stones.

If you've ever wondered what it takes to find small minerals and produce a photo like this, well then you're in luck because I just uploaded a video detailing the whole process, which is extensive but well worth the results.
