If you’re visiting Death Valley, the Shoshone Museum is worth stopping at to check out their rock displays, both inside the museum and outside.
Don’t miss the world class specimens of colmanite in the back of the museum! The front of the museum is dedicated to local human history.
Entrance is free. This museum was unlike any other local museum that we have stopped at in that it was surprisingly busy and full of other visitors.
